A Vision For Our Future
John’s vision for our future includes a 21st century economy, a world class education system, and access to quality health care for everyone. In Congress, John will fight to create jobs for Delaware workers. He’ll create incentives to help small businesses grow. And he’ll work to make investments in clean, green energy technology that will protect our environment and put Delawareans back to work.

One Of Us
Growing up in a large, middle class family in Claymont, John learned at an early age the importance of family and the value of hard work and a good education. It’s these principles that have guided John throughout his life and led him to a career of serving others.

A Problem Solver
John has always worked to bring people together to get things done. As Lt. Governor, and Secretary of Finance and Deputy Chief of Staff for Gov. Tom Carper, John worked to cut taxes, create jobs, and strengthen our economy. He was a strong supporter of the smoking ban and led the fight for the Cancer Right to Know law.

Open Government
I believe that openness in government leads to better results for Delawareans, which is why I have voluntarily posted my financial disclosure forms online. I want you to know that if I am elected to Congress, I will base my decisions on the best interests of Delaware's families and small businesses, not the special interest lobby.
